Sue Pellegrino

Owner, President and CFO

From restoring classic cars to serving as an accounting executive and entrepreneur in the field of eDiscovery, Sue Pellegrino has been challenging the status quo around what a woman leader can be her whole life. Sue has spent her career managing the finances of organizations ranging from publicly traded companies to regional enterprises and small businesses, to now running Everest Discovery and taking the business to new heights.

Before acquiring Everest in 2017, Sue began her career at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, where she worked her way up the ladder from the mailroom to an Accounts Payable Supervisor overseeing all vendors’ accounts. She later served as CFO at Copy Secure, a regional paper and eDiscovery solutions company, leading the accounting, human resources, investor relations, and tax departments. Sue played a pivotal role in growing the company to seven-figure revenues prior to its acquisition by KLDiscovery.

Capitalizing on her 25+ years of experience in accounting and business administration and 10+ years in eDiscovery, Sue now leads her scrappy team of litigation support specialists, ensuring Everest provides the highest quality and most cost-effective solutions to law firm, government, and corporate clients. Under Sue’s leadership, Everest’s revenue has increased by 42% and its footprint has expanded across the country and even to South America.

As a female business owner, Sue is a champion for diversity, equity, and inclusion, proud to devote her time and resources to organizations that advocate for women in business. She is the Director of the Philadelphia Chapter of Women in eDiscovery, serves on the Board of Women Owned Law and is Co-Chair of the Marketing Committee, and is the Founding Member of the Philadelphia Chapter of Women’s President’s Organization. She is also co-chair of the Philadelphia Young Enterprising Women Mentoring Forum Program and, for 10+ years, has been a vocal fundraiser and volunteer for the Epilepsy Foundation of Eastern Pennsylvania.

For her contributions to Everest, the eDiscovery industry, and the community at large, Sue received the 2024 Enterprising Women of the Year Award and was included in Corporate Counsel Business Journal’s 2024 50 Women to Watch. In addition, Sue was featured in MotorTrend magazine for rebuilding a custom 1966 Fastback Mustang, which resulted in first place trophies at various car shows.
